About Farmer Brown Farmer Brown's Products started life in 1993 when Ian & Mary-Ann Brown were asked if they could prepare some rabbit food for a friend. Of course they said yes and the business has gone on from there. Eighteen years on Farmer Brown is still going strong, now offering a large range of wild bird and poultry feeds, including a bespoke product service, under both Farmer Brown's own label and contract manufacture for several large companies. A family business There are now four generations living and working at Farmer Brown's farm, the eldest being ninety-six and the youngest is just one year old. Everyone is involved in their own way; from offering wisdom gained from a lifetime of farming, to sitting on Daddy's knee during harvest. A farming business The farm is central to Farmer Brown's ethos. Wherever possible we grow grains and seeds ourselves. We buy from neighbouring farms those grains we don't have room to grow ourselves. Of course there are some things that can't be grown in the UK, such as peanuts and niger, we source these from known suppliers whom we trust for their quality and reliability. A complete business We mix and pack all of our wild bird feeds ourselves, on the farm. This ensures product of the highest quality, produced with care. We pride ourselves on making the highest quality products and offering them to the customer at reasonable prices. |
